West Pavilion

Pike, Janna 1988- (artist.).

Summary: The Fraser River has always been important to Janna, and after travelling the length of the river by raft and canoe through the Rivershed Society's Sustainable Living Leadership Program, the inspiration to paint West Pavilion hit. To try and capture the true colours of the area, various ecological samples from the riverside were collected and some used in the creation of the painting, including sand from the river.
